Registration Information

2023 Spring Manchester Township Little League Baseball Registration Information

Eligibility:
BOYS and GIRLS AGES 4-16 who live in Manchester, Lakehurst, Whiting, and Lakewood, are eligible.
If you turn 4 by August 31, 2023, you can begin playing Little League this spring.
If you are age 16 or younger by August 31, 2023, you are eligible.
If you were born before September 1, 2006, you are ineligible. 

League Age:
League age determines your division of play. 
Your league age is determined by how old you will be on August 31, 2023

 Tee Ball - Players who are league age 4-6 (5 or 6 with 1-year experience can choose Coach Pitch)

Coach Pitch - Players who are league age 5-8 (7 or 8 with Coach Pitch experience can choose Minors)

 Minors - Players who are league age 7-11 (an advanced 9 may request to try out for Majors)

Majors - Players who are league age 9-12 (9's by request)

Juniors - Players who are league age 13-14

 Seniors - Players who are league age 15-16

All registrants are placed on a team but Minor, Major, Junior and Senior Division Players, must try out since a draft system determines team placement. Players in Minors and above will be notified in late February as to the date and time of their tryout. Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for March 4, 2023. If you register for Tee Ball or Coach Pitch, you do not try out and will be notified of team assignment by March 5, 2023.


2023 Registration Fees:

TBall: $150; includes 2, $25.00 pick 3 fundraiser tickets;
keep or sell them to friends or relatives (if you sell them, you keep the money which reduces your fee!)
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT if you REGISTER BY DEC. 31, 2022 - save $10.00

Coach Pitch: $275; includes 3, $25.00 pick 3 fundraiser tickets;
keep or sell them to friends or relatives (if you sell them, you keep the money which reduces your fee!)
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT if you REGISTER BY DEC. 31, 2022 - save $20.00

Minor, Major, Junior and Senior: $325; includes 3, $25.00 pick 3 fundraiser tickets;
keep or sell them to friends or relatives (if you sell them, you keep the money which reduces your fee!)
EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT if you REGISTER BY DEC. 31, 2022 - saves $25


 
Other added fees:
Credit Card Fees: The typical credit card processing fee, about 2.8%.
Stack Sports Fees: $3 service charge per transaction. If you pay in full, there is only one $3 charge.
 However, if you use the installment plan, you incur this $3 charge monthly. 
We eliminated the $1-$2 per month installment plan fee.

 Family Cap:
Family discounts will automatically be applied when registering multiple children
so that a family pays only one field maintenance fee and at most gets 6 pick 3 fundraiser tickets.
 Total fees do not exceed $550 per family, EXCLUDING transaction fees and credit card processing fees.

Payment Options:
At checkout, you will have the option the pay with Visa or Mastercard either in full or
using the convenient installment plan ($3 PER TRANSACTION Stack Sports charge).
 After the required minimum payment at registration, the remaining payments are
spread out from the time you register through August 1, 2022.


You may also pay by check or cash with no money due at check out. Unlike credit card users,
there is no installment plan and you do not pay any credit card processing fees.
However, you still pay Stack Sports' $3 transaction fee as shown on your invoice,
AND ALL cash and check registrants must be paid in full by March 1, 2022.

Unpaid registrants in a try out division may have their registrations cancelled!!!

All players and teams practice during the month of March, usually twice per week.  Once during the week and once on a Saturday.  Game are played throughout the months of April, May and June.  Teams usually play a 12-18 game Little League season, weather permitting. When the weather is cold during March and early April, with our younger players in Tball we try to schedule practices and games in our Indoor Training Facility (ITF).   We also offer a Fall-ball instructional program for all players during the months of September and October. During the winter months of November, December, January and February, your child can sign up and workout with other players and coaches within their division.

Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY:

 1. BEFORE TRYOUTS: A full refund of all registration fees to anyone who wishes to withdraw.

 
2. AFTER TRYOUTS and BEFORE OPENING DAY: (this period is usually all of March, and league expenses towards opening day have occurred)

 TBall : $75.00; if Pick 3 tickets were not picked up, add $50. Maximum refund of the original $150 is $125

 Coach Pitch: $75; NOTE: if the uniform was not ordered, add $45; if Pick 3 tickets were not picked up, add $75. Maximum refund of the original $275 could be $195.

All Tryout Divisions: $55.00; (tryouts and being drafted, affects the integrity of the draft process).  (NOTE: if the uniform was not ordered, add $45; if Pick 3 tickets were not picked up, add $75. Maximum refund of the original $325 could be $175


 
3. AFTER OPENING DAY, but before May 1:

All Divisions: Only $50, as most expenses have been incurred!


 
4. AFTER MAY 1: Zero refunds
