Mason Invitational Tournament

Welcome to the 16th annual Mason Invitational Tournament, or MIT for short. For 23 years, Gary Mason loved coaching little league. We can still see his face light up when he was teaching certain aspects of the game. In 1992, Gary achieved his greatest coaching accomplishment when his 12 year old All Star team won the District 18 title for Manchester Little League. Gary was always looking to make sure the kids of all ability levels played as much baseball as possible.
The MIT allows additional Little League players throughout NJ to experience All Star competition. Year in & year out, many players do not make the District All Star teams who are very capable but get caught up in a numbers crunch in most leagues. This tournament allows these players to play in something meaningful.
MIT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
• TBALL Division (Free non-competitive & Fun!)
• COACH PITCH Division (Free non-competitive & Fun!)
• MINORS Division Tournament on 46x60 field
• MAJORS Division Tournament on 46x60 field
• BIG FIELD WOOD BAT Tournament on 60x90 field
• All Players Must Have Played In Their Respective Division During The Regular Season.
• Starts: Friday July 12th.
• Opening Night Competitions July 12th @ 6pm
– Home Run Derby / Speed & Agility / Throwing Competitions
• All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games in the Tournament.
• Players selected to an MIT team shall not be selected to a D18 A.S. team (except Big Field).
• All fields are top notch & each team will have access to our 11,000 sq. ft. indoor facility.
• Premium trophies & awards, plus the competition winners & runners up trophies.
• Tournament T-shirt for sale.
• Free MIT Pins for all players.
• Free MIT Team Booklets for all parents.
• Free MIT Tournament Scorebooks for each team.
