EARN SOME CASH!

For the 2024 season, Manchester Little League has eliminated the traditional work bond reimbursement. In the past years, volunteerism has declined, however, the need for help to maintain the wonderful complex we have come to enjoy still needs people to perform various tasks to keep it in shape. A grounds committee was formed to oversee the necessary maintenance and repairs needed yearly. So for this year rather than hassle people to spend time at the facility to earn back their work bonds, we have elected to pay for people to perform these necessary tasks. Here’s how you can make back some money.

For the regular 2024 season (March –June) we will be requesting people to come out and perform maintenance and repairs. 
We will be looking for about 5 or 6 people weekly to perform some of the following necessary duties:

Clean up trash and empty garbage cans
Maintain playing fields
Maintain and repair irrigation concerns
Painting and repairs
ITF and Clubhouse cleaning and maintenance
Electrical and equipment maintenance

During the MIT and All-stars tournaments (July) we will be looking for 8-10 people daily during game days to perform the following:

Grounds and field set up and maintenance
Game announcers and bookkeepers
Snack stand coverage (If Required)

A committee will be in place so you can sign up to perform these necessary duties. They will track of all time and you MUST sign in and out or payments will NOT be made. The following qualifications will apply:

Must be age 14
Must be in good standing with MLL
Positions will be filled on a first come first serve basis
Maximum yearly payout $500.00 - MLL reserves the right to accept or decline any person as deemed necessary

Rates for regular season maintenance:
$10.00/ hour. Avg. 2-3 hours a day as needed

Rates for July tournament time:
Grounds/Field Prep, Bookkeepers and Announcers
$10.00 per GAME plus a Food Voucher for the Snack Stand
(This incentive is limited to our area teens - you must sign up and sign in for each game )
All payments will be provided as a maintenance fund reimbursement.
