ITF Rules
We want everyone to enjoy our Indoor Training Facility (ITF) and in order to keep it running smoothly and continue to be a safe environment for our children; we have the following rules that need to be enforced by EVERYONE!
- We ask that all parents, grandparents & siblings remain in the ITF building on the second-floor mezzanine area during their child's workout session.
- Parents shall please supervise their children while up in the mezzanine area. Your children shall NOT run around up there or climb on the railings, bleachers or half wall. We do appreciate your cooperation.
- Players shall NOT wear rubber/metal cleats in the ITF building. Sneakers only.
- Parents shall please check that their child is entering the ITF with CLEAN sneakers.
- Players shall NOT bring any type of colored drink or soda into the facility. Bottled water is the only drink we are recommending.
- Players shall NOT have any type of chewing gum while in the ITF.
- We ask that players do NOT bring sunflower seeds in the ITF.
- When entering the building, all players shall hang their bat bags on the hooks in the locker room area to the left.
- We remind parents to please straighten up the chairs and throw away any garbage in the mezzanine area prior to leaving the facility.
- Coaches and parents shall clean up and make sure that all equipment in the ITF is put back in its proper place. All of the equipment is labeled and should be returned to its hitting stations and/or hitting tunnels.
- Safety always comes first; no players shall be swinging a bat outside of the hitting stations and/or hitting tunnels.
- Players in the hitting areas shall always wear a batting helmet at all times.
- Nets shall be checked that they are always closed and overlapped so no balls can enter the various areas in the ITF.
- Various adults shall always be stationed in the hitting areas to supervise safety first.
- Prior to leaving for the day, the coaches and parents shall check that all equipment is put away, garbage picked up and thrown away, chairs straightened up, TV shut down, empty garbage cans.
We do apologize for this long list, however, in order to keep the Indoor Training Facility a safe environment for years to come, we ALL need to help out and enforce the above rules.
Thank you very much for support Manchester Little League and its Sponsors!
