Mandatory Grounds Fee

As we have found in the past, families are finding it very difficult to commit to work bond duties as a result of our busy lives. The answer that most parents gave to the registration question asking if they planned on fulfilling their work bond requirements was, "NO, keep it!"  We have found that this decline in volunteering may be affecting how the members of this League try and maintain a beautiful complex that we have learned to enjoy. So, for this season we decided to avoid placing this burden on families and allow them the time to enjoy their child’s experience at MLL during the regular season and through our annual MIT/All-Stars seasons in July so a $100.00 grounds fee per family is included in your registration.

We realize that those parents who fulfill their work bond duties may still want to continue to reduce their Little League expenses. With that in mind, and because we are still volunteers, we will be looking for folks to come out and perform the necessary tasks on the complex to continue to maintain one of the finest Little Leagues in the State.  The league will provide payment for your service as rendered; there is no obligation or responsibility to be involved.
